 p>Dr. Swaran Singh is currently visiting professor with the Department of P
 olitical Science at UBC. He is a full-time professor of diplomacy and disar
 mament at the School of International Studies\, Jawaharlal Nehru University
  (New Delhi). He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute 
 and President of the Association of Asia Scholars. Professor Singh speciali
 zes in international security\, especially Asian affairs and China’s foreig
 n and security policies. His last book was <em>Revisiting Gandhi: Legacies 
 for World Peace and National Integration</em>\, published by World Scientif
 ic Singapore. His new book\, <em>Multilateralism in the Indo-Pacific: Conce
 ptual and Operational Challenges</em>\, has just been published by Routledg
 e. Another book\, <em>Enter the Dragon: China and the Indo-Pacific</em>\, w
