 shed Speaker.</h4><p>Dr. Barnett is a University Professor of International
  Affairs and Political Science at George Washington University. His work sp
 ans the Middle East\, humanitarianism\, global governance\, global ethics\,
  and the United Nations\, with numerous influential books including <em>Eye
 witness to a Genocide</em>\, <em>Empire of Humanity</em>\, and <em>Rules fo
 r the World</em>.</p><p>Dr. Barnett will deliver a separate talk to the dep
 artment's faculty members and graduate students on April 9 before the publi
 c lecture on April 10.</p><p>Lunch will be served at 12:00pm in <a href="ht
