Dhriti (pronounced “Dree-tee”) is a PhD student in Political Science, specializing in Comparative Politics, at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on the politics of immigration, integration, and citizenship policymaking, with an emphasis on skilled migration in North America. She is also interested in diaspora politics and policymaking, with a regional focus on India. Dhriti is affiliated with the UBC Centre for Migration Studies and is pursuing the UBC Graduate Certificate in Migration Studies. Prior to her doctoral studies, she gained extensive experience in corporate U.S. immigration law.
