Over the month of March, UBC POLI will be hosting lunches in which small groups of undergraduate students will be invited to join faculty members in discussion on a topic of shared interest. Each lunch will be an informal opportunity for undergraduates and faculty to share opinions, questions, and ideas. This isn’t a formal seminar. It’s a casual conversation (with a free lunch) in which students and faculty can get to know, and learn from, one another.
This special edition of our Faculty Conversations series is co-organized with the Konwakai Chair in Japanese Research at the Institute of Asian Research (IAR) and will feature Professor Chung-Min Tsai (Executive Director of Academic Affairs, Taipei School of Economics and Political Science (TSE); Professor of Political Science and Vice Dean of the College of Social Sciences, National Chengchi University (NCCU)). He will speak on Taiwanese Politics and the US-China-Taiwan Triangle. Professor Tsai is also open to discussing and answering questions about TSE’s graduate programs.
