“Is Grad or Law School Right for Me?” is a post-graduation planning session for our undergraduate community. The event will feature information about graduate programs which are common post-graduation pathways for our undergraduates, namely programs in Political Science, Policy, and Law.
During this event, we’ll have current students and recent graduates from Political Science, Policy, and Law graduate programs lead small table discussions focused on their particular disciplines. Event attendees will self-select two table discussions ahead of the event and will have approximately thirty minutes of discussion at each of their chosen tables.
In order to ensure that each small table discussion stays truly small, we will be capping the number of attendees for this event. Folks interested in attending should RSVP by Thursday 19 October at the latest. On Friday 20 October, you will receive an e-mail indicating that you have either successfully registered for the event or that you have been placed on our waitlist. If you RSVP for the event after Thursday 19 October, you will be automatically placed on the waitlist.
If you register for the event but are no longer able to attend, please write to our Undergraduate Program Advisor, Jillian (poli.advising@ubc.ca), as soon as possible so that she can update the waitlist.
Accessibility
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. To be respectful of those with allergies and environmental sensitivities, we ask that all attendees please refrain from wearing strong fragrances. We also strongly encourage attendees to mask at this event and will have masks available on site for folks to use.
