UBC Political Science faculty and staff are excited to host a welcome event for MA and PhD students at Locarno Beach Park on Friday, September 10 at 5:30 pm to celebrate the new academic year.
Safety guidelines:
- While we encourage everyone to attend, please refrain from joining if you exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms. Please do a health check using the B.C. COVID-19 self-assessment tool here
- Food will be available but will be packed individually to reduce contact. So please RSVP if you want food, and please show up if you RSVP to avoid unnecessary waste!
- This will be an outdoor event; in case of inclement weather we will send out a cancellation email within an hour of the start time, so please check your email before coming.
- Hand sanitation supplies will be available to patrons. Restrooms can be accessed with running water, soap, and hand dryer.
- Alcohol: Consumption of Alcohol is strictly prohibited at all Picnic Locations.
