Stewart Prest teaches political science as a lecturer with the department of political science. He teaches and researches in a a variety of areas of the discipline, ranging the comparative study of democratic institutions, to international relations, to the study of contentious politics. Stewart also teaches courses on Canadian political institutions. He is also a regular commentator on politics in local, national, and international media. He has a PhD in political science from UBC (2016). Prior to that, he completed a Master of Arts in International Affairs at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University in Ottawa.
