Alum Nikki Hill named one of Canada’s most powerful women in 2023 by WXN
Alum Nikki Hill (BA’97) was awarded the Canadian Tire impact award in recognition of her charity leadership. Between 2018 and 2022, Nikki served as the founder and Co-Chair of United Way’s Period Promise campaign and has since served as the chair of the provincial government’s Period Poverty Task Force. Her work has led to significant federal and provincial public policy changes.

Mellissa is an acclaimed veteran correspondent, author and documentary filmmaker. Through her riveting films, she has become a powerful advocate for women and girls in war-torn countries, giving a voice to victims and calling for greater international protection.
