Congratulations to UBC Political Science Professor Dr. Richard Johnston as recipient to the 2018-19 Dean of Arts Award!
The Dean of Arts Award is awarded annually to a faculty member in recognition of exceptional and sustained contributions in two or more areas (educational leadership; teaching and learning; research; and service/community engagement) and whose contributions have proven to be catalytic and/or transformative to the Faculty of Arts.
The award is given in the name of a living Professor Emeritus/Emerita who has made a significant contribution to the Faculty of Arts and who has inspired the Dean of Arts Award recipient. The Professor Emeritus for Dr. Johnston’s award is Dr. Ken Carty.
