Professor Sam LaSelva has been awarded the Don Smiley Prize by the CPSA, which is awarded to the author of the best book published in English or French in a field relating to the study of government and politics in Canada for his book Canada and the Ethics of Constitutionalism: Identity, Destiny, and Constitutional Faith, MQUP 2018
