UBC Political Science PhD graduate Afsoun Afsahi, has been offered a Post-doctoral Fellowship with the Goethe-Universität in Germany. Congratulations!
Afsoun Afashi specializes in Political Theory and Canadian politics. Her research interests as well as the focus of her dissertation include deliberative democracy, multiculturalism, gender, facilitation, and quantitative and experimental methodology. In her future research, she will expand her research to consider the best methods of evaluation and regulation of speech in liberal multicultural democracies in addition to a project that looks at the all-affected principle through the lens of principles of justice.
