UBC Political Science is excited to announce that Rich Transcripts have been released for our 2021 and 2022 graduates!
Rich Transcripts are a different way to summarize all the work our students did in their Political Science courses at UBC. We asked all our faculty to tell us what they were asking students to do in their courses and each student receives a summary of that skill and knowledge for the all UBC POLI courses they took.
We hope our students will use their Rich Transcripts as they build their professional profiles and launch their career. Graduates can show it to prospective employers as they apply for jobs or use it to easily articulate the skills they learned and developed over the course of their undergraduate degrees.
Rich Transcripts is one of many ways through which UBC, the Faculty of Arts, and the Department of Political Science help our students and graduates get “career activated”. Some of the others include:
- Job postings for UBC grads
- Alumni career programming and advising
- The What Can I Do With My Major page for Political Science
- UBC Arts Portfolio for showcasing skills to prospective employers
We have worked to make each student’s Rich Transcript accurate and comprehensive, but we cannot guarantee that all the details of all experiences in every course has been perfectly recorded and aggregated. If you are a Political Science graduate who believes your rich transcript is not accurate, please contact the department through fred.cutler@ubc.ca.
We hope that our graduates find this useful. If you have any feedback on it, please email those thoughts to Professor Fred Cutler at fred.cutler@ubc.ca.
