UBC Political Science student Danilo Angulo-Molina selected to The Cansbridge Fellowship

Fourth-year Honours student Danilo Angulo-Molina

Congratulations to fourth-year student Danilo Angulo-Molina who is currently enrolled in our Honours Political Science with International Relations program and was recently selected to The Cansbridge Fellowship earlier this term.

The Cansbridge Fellowship consists of three major components: a weeklong boot camp in the Silicon Valley (Squamish, BC this year), a $10,000 scholarship to pursue a summer internship in Asia or internationally depending on travel restrictions, and a life-long network of ambitious and disruptive thinkers.

“As an incoming 2022 Fellow, I look forward to obtaining the necessary knowledge and rare skills that will enable me to pursue new solutions to advocate and empower larger numbers of vulnerable communities worldwide,” Angulo-Molina writes.

“I want to express my sincere and deepest gratitude to The Cansbridge Fellowship team, Eric Huang and William Yu for welcoming me to this community and for engaging with me in such thoughtful conversations, Dr. Laura Moss, Marcy Caouette, and Dr. Gage Averill from the Faculty of Arts at UBC for enabling me to become part of a life-changing opportunity, and Dr. Yves Tiberghien for his constant support and for inspiring to me apply to such an impactful fellowship.”
